Notes

This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Alexander Zass (1888-1962), a Russian professional wrestler and circus strongman who became famous in UK under his stage name of Samson. Zass developed his own training system, and independently developed what became known as isometric exercises (which use the actual body weight in resistance work rather than metal weights)."
