Negatives, transparencies, contact sheets and prints for Wellcome Trust corporate photography shoots C0001000 - C0001018.
The subjects of these shoots include Wellcome Trust staff and staff retirements; the 1999 Wellcome Biomedical Image Awards; Wellcome-funded researchers and centres; history of medicine seminars at Wellcome in October 1999; exteriors and interiors of Hinxton Hall at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus (now the Wellcome Genome Campus); a 50th anniversary reception for the Wellcome Library’s; and recipients of Wellcome’s Science on Stage and Screen award in 1999.

Individual descriptions for these shoots are provided below. These are based on original captions created by the Medical Photographic Library (later Wellcome Images). They contain some gaps. Original captions are included in printed form in the albums.

- C0001018 - Geneticist Caroline Mitchell, a Wellcome Trust-funded researcher in residence, based at the Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory in Salisbury. Mitchell spent time at Thornden School trying to dispel stereotypes about science and challenging pupils' perspectives of scientists, 27 April 1999.
