About this work
Description
Original art work and proofs for advertising campaigns and marketing material. Very little material of this type survives - partly because it would have been retained by the artist or graphic designers appointed for individual jobs. Also, because as a set of published product literature was retained by the company it was possibly thought unecessary to retain working copies.
Periodically, the company also ordered copies of cartoons which featured in newspapers. These have been retained here.
