Governor of Trinidad and Tobago with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof as follows:— Preliminmy. 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health short Title Ordinance, 1915. 2. This Ordinance shall commence on such day as may Commence- be fixed by the Governor by proclamation. i^^*- 3. In the construction of this Ordinance the following interpretation terms and expressions shall respectively have the meanings °^ assigned to them by this section, unless there is something in the subject or context inconsistent therewith : Animal includes bird. ''Barrack or barracks includes any building or collection of buildings divided into rooms occupied singly or in sets by persons of the poorer class and to which there are a common yard and common conveniences.
