9 December, 1892. Advertisement sheet for The Vitalite Sock, with annotation by Burroughs.

9 December, 1892. "Rough sketch of letter to be sent to Rt Hon W E Gladstone," to accompany a "case of medicines such as are regularly prescribed by the medical profession." Verso, Burroughs suggests that "a word might be said about our having for several years tried the 8 hour or 45 hours a week system[,] also that of profit sharing with great success. We might also invite his inspection of the Works, if he would like to see them any afternoon."

December 1892. Notification of the next meeting (17 December "at the usual place") of the Independent Order of Rehabites (Dartford Excelsior Tent No. 1665), and a reminder that 5/- is due (for half year). Note from Burroughs attached: "Send the 5/- at once & charge to SMB." See also subsequent draft letter ("on train to Geneva Dec 17 '92") to Burroughs Wellcome & Co.

23 December, 1892. Copy letter from Burroughs Wellcome & Co referring to Messrs Meister Lucius & Bruning (Antipyrin). See also draft letter from Burroughs (San Remo, 28 December).
