A work on Obstetrics by Katakura Kakuryō. It draws on both Dutch and English works, most probably via Dutch translations, reproducing some of the original illustrations, describing difficult births and how they should be managed. It is written in Kanbun so likely intended as a scholarly text. The work was first published in 1799, but minor additions were made to the blocks in 1803 and 1822; this copy dates from 1822 or shortly thereafter.
