About this work

Description

Five sermons, the last a holograph MS.; the others copied out by Rev. William Davies [1769-1849]: together with one by Stephen Jenner [1732-1797], also copied by Davies. These sermons, originally composed by Black, appear to have been used frequently by members of the Jenner Family, including the Rev. William Davies, the copyist. Notes of dates of delivery are given with some of the sermons: the latest is 1845.
