Description

Note-books on Zoology, compiled while a student at Birmingham University, and later at St. John's College, Cambridge. Birmingham & Cambridge Written partly in pencil, and illustrated with rough pen and pencil drawings and figures, some coloured in crayon. The first volume is dated at Birmingham 1903, and the second was probably also compiled there. The rest are from Cambridge. No. 8 is a printed 'Note book for practical Zoology' published by the Cambridge Zoological Laboratory 1896': No. 9 is a similar Note book for the 'Elements of Comparative Anatomy of the Vertebrates' by Professor John Stanley Gardner [1872-1846] and [Sir] Clive Forster-Cooper [1880-1947], 1911. Both volumes contain abbreviated text, the remainder of the pages being used for notes.
