About this work
Description
1 artwork identified by Rita Simon's pseudonym "Tuberculosis Patient 12 - Mrs Bird" which shows areas of colours overlaid and paint dabbed on in blue, green and brown. The paper has been folded on the two sides and the base by Rita Simon to demonstrate framing. She said: "The quality of the paper is a clue. This is newsprint, very thin paper, which was supplied at first, so this painting must be early. Later the hospital was persuaded to buy better paper."
The title has been supplied by the cataloguer for identification purposes.
The sequence number of the artwork is written on the verso of the painting.
Rita Simon classified this artwork as Traditional Massive.
