Biographical note
The Arts in Hospitals Trust (Arthos) was founded in Bristol in 1984 by a group of artists and designers working in local hospitals. Arthos was involved in planning and executing new artwork projects in hospitals, with the aim of creating better therapeutic environments for patients and staff in hospitals.
