Photograph of an illustration from Martin, Albert, Deutsches Badewesen in vergangenen Tagen : nebst einem Beitrage zur Geschichte der Deutschen Wasserheilkunde, Jena: Eugen Diederichs, 1906, after a woodcut by Holfschritt von Urs Graf in Kalender des Doctor Kung, 1508. The illustration depicts a man in a bath being passed a cup by a woman stood next to it with captions in German above and below. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 29th August 1935 (PHO 4219).
