Description

2 paintings by Normal Psychology Patient 1 "Clarice", on the same piece of paper. On recto, there are two nesting squares with a yellow oval in the middle. Rita Simon noted: "circles in squares = self and others. The outside orange square = the objective world". On verso, there are blue paint squiggles.

The self circle on the recto is reproduced in The Symbolism of Style, figure 3.3b, page 41.

The title of the image on the recto has been taken from the caption used in Rita Simon's publication. The title of the image on the verso has been supplied by the cataloguer for identification purposes.

Rita Simon did not classify this artwork with a style.
