Dear Professor Riggsby, I have now heard from Oscar Miller who thinks it will be possible for me to leave Gatlinburg in time to reach the Knoxville campus. This be mg so, I am happy to accept the invitation in your letter of 21st November. As to a topic for the talk I would suggest that I do not speak about chromosome structure as that will have been fully covered at the Gatlinburg meeting bat instead give a lecture on Positional Information which is the topic in which I am mainly interested and which will probably be novel to most of your audience.
