Biographical note
The Tower Hamlets Health Authority was established in 1981.
Savage was appointed Honorary Consultant to the Authority and sat on several liaison committees in this role. In 1985 she was suspended from her role on the grounds of alleged incompetence.
After the suspension, the Authority was involved in making provision for her return and in the enforcing of the Munro reccomendations.
