About this work

Description

1 moleskin volume containing handwritten diary entries recording Phillip Dickinson's experiences and thoughts during the UK COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020 and 2021. The diary charts how Dickinson adjusts to the new way of life and covers national events, the furlough scheme, the impact of lockdown on people and the challenges of working from home. One double page spread contains lines of poetry by the author.

Just over half the pages of the diary have been used. Entries range from a few lines to several pages and become less frequent over time. There are no entries between 12th August and 19th October 2020 nor between the end of January and start of April 2021.
