Notes

Title from incipit of leaf [1].
Although often attributed in incunable editions to Benedictus Kamisius, Kamintus, Canutus or Kanuti (i.e. Bengt Knutsson, bishop of Västerås), the author is probably Johannes Jacobi (i.e. Jean Jasme or Jacme)--Cf. Wickersheimer.
This edition is perhaps the Regimen contra morbum epidemiae announced on the title page of Goff R-74, with which it is sometimes found. Two settings are known of the title page. One setting reads "Regimen contra epidimiam siue pestem"; the other reads: "Regime[n] [con]tra epidemia[m] sive peste[m]".--Cf. Klebs. Pestschriften, no. 25-26.
Imprint from Goff.
Colophon reads: Tractat[us] de regimi[n]e pestile[n]tico d[o]m[ini] kami[n]ti ep[iscop]i Arusi[e]n[sis] ciuitatis regni dacie artis medicine expertissimi p[ro]fessoris finem habet.
