Forest Fire (artwork)

A mounted painting in Rita Simon's Traditional Linear style, depicting a road leading from foreground to background with trees either side and smoke in the distance. It was produced by a tuberculosis patient.

The title has been taken from wording written on the recto.

The date has been taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.

The artwork has "Trad linear" written on the verso, but the classification symbol also on the verso categorises the artwork as Traditional Massive.
