About this work
Description
1 artwork identified by Rita Simon's pseudonym "Tuberculosis Patient 16" which shows a tree-lined black road running through the countryside with a tiny white house in the distance. The painting has a heavy black painted border.
The title is taken from Rita Simon's book, Symbolic Images in Art as Therapy where the painting is reproduced as Figure 4.3, p. 57. On p.56, Rita Simon says the painting is a "Traditional Linear poster painting of remembered landscape by a young man who was dangerously ill."
On the verso, Rita Simon titled the painting 'Arterial Road.'
Rita Simon classified this artwork as Traditional Linear.
