Biographical note
The Seal Sale Executive Committee was formed in 1933 to oversee fund-raising through annual sales of Christmas greetings stamps. In 1939 it became the Seal Sale and Appeal Committee and from 1948 was known as the (Christmas) Seal Sale Committee.
