Description

Stanley Browne took matriculation examinations for the University of London 1926 and 1927. He was accepted by King's College, London, and was a medical student from 1928 until graduating in May 1933, in Medicine, MBBS, with distinctions in Forensic Medicine and Hygiene and in Surgery.

The papers in this section largely relate to grants and scholarships Browne obtained to support his studies. Further correspondence and papers relating to the period when Browne was a medical student can be found in the general correspondence files, series A.8. See also scrapbook A.22/1.
