Description

Transcript of 'La Moÿsade'. [Here attributed to Nicolas Freret]. This MS. is an extreme example of the remarkable phonetic spelling used by Chaussegros in his later MSS. At the end of the text he has written: 'Achevé de kopier du troisième volume des Oeuvres complettes de M. Freret. Edicion de Londres 1775. 1836, le 29 Janvier à 10 heures 33 minutes du soir, il faisait grand vent sur terre. Domicilié rue des Prêtres No. 6 au 3e près de l'Église de Saint Etienne du Mont. Par Moi Vital Chaussegros Théoplilozo Maria, et de l'ordre de l'Annunciacion, et Maître en les Sciences divines et Célestes. Vive Jesus et Marie'. Produced in Paris.
