"Service & Salary Records Book"

With a name index at the front. Records for 125 staff members, in varying degrees of completion: name, address, age, marital status, qualifications, previous experience, date employment commenced, terms of employment, and particulars of annual salary.

The earliest dates for employment are late 19th century (e.g. the first entry is J W Simmons, who commenced work in 1892 as an Office Junior in the Home Sales Dept), but the entries in general appear to have been made at a later date.

The volume has the following material loosely inserted:
Inside front cover: 3 sheets typescript of additional information on staff members, marked "file in record book" (1936).
Inside front cover: 1 small sheet of notes in pencil (1942).
Small sheet of notes at entry 35 (for Thomas Ainslie Robertson).
