Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest: Seconal poisoning, 15 Feb 1947; 2 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning, 17 and 18 Feb 1947; bullet through the brain, 12 Mar 1947; judicial execution, 18 Mar 1947, 26 Mar 1947, 15 Apr 1947; suicide ? phosphorus poisoning, 19 Apr 1947; hanging, 1 May 1947; some inserted manuscript and typed notes
