Information contained includes patient name and number, name and address of Obligant, date of admission, date of discharge or death and additional notes (e.g. Institution supplies clothing, no clothing a/c, no charge for repair of clothing). Dates of discharge and death are not always recorded. The names of patients still resident in 1890 do not appear to have been transferred into this volume, so the earliest date of admission is 1890 and the latest is 1901.
