This sequence of material was found in Read's boxfiles arranged in an alphabetical sequence. It is nearly entirely notes on the literature arranged alphabetically by author, with occasional notes by topic title interpolated into the sequence. Subjects range from genetics, cancer treatment, proteins, Although the material includes notes on work in the early part of the twentieth century, the notes appear to have been made over a period from the mid 1940s to the mid 1970s.
