Description

Immunology, established in 1958, and Clinical and Experimental Immunology, established in 1966, are the official journals of the BSI and are published by Blackwell Scientific Publications Ltd (BSP). They are available to anyone on payment of a subscription. While the selection of scientific papers for these journals is left to their respective editors and assistant editors, at least once a year the BSI convenes an editorial meeting for each journal at which administrative matters such as prices and publication times are discussed. Initially, these were called journal and editorial committee meetings. However, from 1968, they gradually became known as editorial board meetings. As well as the editors and assistant editors, these meetings usually include members of the BSI Committee as it also has a hand in deciding the editorial policies of both journals.
