29 August, 1918. George Edward Pearson. Copy Power of Attorney, without signatures, applying "worldwide". With two memoranda (1940): "Mr Pearson has decided not to surrender his Power of Attorney. He informed Mr Matthews personally today, 30th December 1940, that he would keep the document as a souvenir".

10 December, 1918. John Sinclair Corner Harcus, of Bombay, authority in Indian Empire. Signed and sealed by George Pearson on behalf of Henry Wellcome.
