Description

Atypical 'Heine-Medin disease'. [?Ep]idemic or sporadic (toxic?) polyneuritis, in children and adults, possibly related to 'Heine-Medin disease'. Organic disease supervening on old infantile paralysis or old infantile hemiplegia. Poliomyelitis after tonsillectomy. Trauma and acute anterior poliomyeletic Landry's 'acute ascending or descending paralysis' (polymyelitic or polyneuritic?). Polyneuritic (peripheral) form of epidemic encephalitis. Isolated paralysis of serratus magnus muscle etc (for comparison). Polyradiculitis or rather polyradiculoneuritis (compare with Landry's paralysis)
