Superintendent’s and Senior Officials Conferences

These Conferences were of Retreat doctors and senior officials and covered matters to do with the running of the Retreat. The title of the Conference seems to have varied over time: initially called the Superintendent’s Conference, it was later called simply ‘The Conference’ or the Senior Officials’ Conference, and later on was known as the Senior Officers’ Meeting.
