Notes

One print in a series of thirteen prints formerly bound together (now disbound) with binder's title on front cover, "Views of Malvern". The series is not the same as "Sketches of Malvern and its vicinity", published by H. Lamb, which is recorded in the Abbey catalogue (Scenery of Great Britain and Ireland in aquatint and lithography 1770-1860 from the library of J.R. Abbey, San Francisco 1991, nos. 266 (ten prints, c. 1820) and 267 (six prints, c. 1830)), though some of the prints also appear in one of those series. The different groups of impressions are distinguished by, inter alia, whether they are lettered in gothic, roman or italic script
