Letters between C R Harington, Royal Society Committee on the American Philosophical Society gift, and J B S Haldane regarding Haldane's application for a grant in connection with the maintenance of Drosophila stocks. The correspondence concludes with Harington suggesting Haldane applies to the Genetical Society for funding, and makes a further application to the Committee if that is unsuccessful.
