Biographical note

A young man, in his early 20's. He was in therapy during the period 1970-1982. He was living with his schizophrenic mother and was referred to Rita Simon by Social Services. Rita Simon found him to be border-line schizophrenic, extremely disturbed and closed off. She believed he needed years of help but wasn't receiving it from the Social Services. They moved him, he ran away, went to a hostel, was unable to work.

This information is taken from conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997. However, information provided on dates appears to be wrong, as the file does contain work from 1989.
