Rosemary (Romie) Goodchild was the FPA Press Officer from 1980-1988 when she died of Cancer.
The Rosemary Goodchild Award Memorial Prize consisted of an annual prize of £500 donated by Romie's husband, Trevor Goodchild, for the best published newspaper or magazine article on women's health and family planning topics.
