Description

This volume includes also notes and cuttings on Palilalia and Palilogia (and palilexia), Palikinesia, Palilalia associated with dysarthria, dysphasia and aphasia (see also second series). Also contains notes on 1) Speech defects in children ('Dyslalia') of various kinds--'Lalling' (Lallatio), 'Rhinolalia' etc (functional etc). 2) various forms of congenital aphasia and aphasia acquired in early life and later 3) Congenital word-blindness, word-deafness, psychical deafness with associated 'echolalia' (echo-speech) of children etc. Note: for other notes and cuttings on various forms and theories of aphasia, see especially my volume (with Dr Arkwright) on pseudo-bulbar paralysis 1894. This volume includes notes and cuttings on: - stammering or stuttering, rhinolalia and 'Nasal dyslalia' of all kinds in children, and on the study of various abnormalities of speech; also various defects of the palate, pharynx, and nasal passages in children (congenital and acquired) giving rise to speech--and voice--defects.
