Photograph of a carved wooden kohl (ancient eye cosmetic) from the temple of Hatshepsut (1507-1478 BC), Deir el-Bahari, Egypt. The photograph of the container is included in the publication Catalogue of an Exhibition illustrating The History of Pharmacy, an exhibition held at the Wellcome Research Institution, London, 4 May - 28 September 1951. It was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is no longer held by Wellcome Collection.
