Correspondence and papers relating to the registration of psychologists working in academic and research institutions and the consultative "green" paper "Registration and Academic Psychologists" published by the Steering Committee on Registration in 1983, including responses or comments and views that the Steering Committee solicited from departments of Psychology of academic and other relevant institutions. (This consultative document followed on from the Society's "Consultative paper on the form of a Registration Act" regarding the proposal to set up a legal Register of Pschologists in the UK - to which opinions and views were also solicited by the society). Includes a copy of the consultative paper.
