    Boult’s Means for Producing Physiological and Medicinal Effects upon Men, (fc. of the vessel, as commonly, but from the middle which fact sufficiently verifies the explication aforesaid, the centre of the condensation sphere being situated within the axis of the cylinder. The arrangement Figs. 4—5 shows two spirals rolled in opposite directions upon a bottle or a tube. The effect is quite the same as in Fig. 6. A bottle of wdne » being put into such a tube, the wine wdll mature within a few months, whilst in other cases years are necessary for this purpose. The column A, Fig. 1, consists of a massive core a in combination with many links h, Fig. 3, filed upon it. Between these links b goes a wire c of copper or other material forming a spiral or other curve. The whirls produced on the free 10 ends of the links b by the effect of the spiral d the core a and the links themselves are emitted outward, and influence the vegetation of plants standing around. A simpler construction consists of two strong wires with numerous wire-pieces squeezed between them. The strong wires are then exposed to a torsion strain the whole receiving by this means the form of a screw-stairs. A copper spiral is put La in in the same manner as in Fig. 1. The apparatus Figs. 7—12 have the form of discs. Both sides of the disc are covered with a spiral, the ends of both wires being connected through the middle. The ether-particles will accumulate then in the middle and will be flung in a vertical direction. In order to increase the extent of the whirl on the wires there 20 may be employed a chain of spiral-links (Fig. 10) instead of a single wire. The arrangement Fig. 12 shows the wire in the form of a star. In this case the ether parts will accumulate on the place wffiere the points approach, that is in the middle of the disc. Consequently the parts are emitted in the same manner as in Fig. 10. 25 By means of- these discs physiological and medicinal effects may be produced upon.men, animals and plants. Ha ving now particularly described and ascertained the nature of the said inven¬ tion, as communicated to me by my foreign correspondent, and in w'hat manner the same is to be performed, I declare that what I claim is;— 30 1. The process of utilizing the vis viva of the ether by producing spheres of condensation of the ether on suitable solid bodies as wires, pierced discs and the like through which may be led electric currents. 2. A wire spiral, simple or composed, round bottles and other vessels for the purpose of accelerating according to the process mentioned above, physical, 35 chemical and physiological proceedings as crystallization, maturiug of wrine and the like. 3. A column with a massive core a, a spiral d and many links b for the purpose of influencing the vegetation of plants and similar proceedings after the process mentioned above. 40 4. Discs with wires or spiral chains fixed upon them in the form of spirals or stars for similar purposes as the apparatus mentioned above especially for producing physiological and medicinal effects upon men, animals and plants.
