Description
In the late 1980s the Society considered ways to increase publicity and raise its profile. Botsford Public Relations Ltd was engaged.
The material in this section covers major public health issues, reactions to Government circulars, statements, reports etc., and publicity for Society conferences and seminars. (There were often multiple press releases for conferences).
Each file (except J.7/2) contains all or some of the following: Press releases issued by Botsford PR Ltd on behalf of the Society, photocopies of newspaper and journal articles mentioning the Society, and broadcast lists. Titles are mainly taken from that on the press release.
