Description
Letters from Fergusson dated 1834-1873 and some undated items. Some are fragmentary.
Recipients include Lightfoot on modifying surgical instruments, Jabez Hogg, and Drs Richardson, Dubre, and I or J H Bartlitt on patients, some with cancer. Half of the letters are written to his landlords, George and James Peachy/Peachey, about his residence at 16 George Street, Hanover Square West, London.
Two letters, dated 1877-1879, are written by his son, Sir James Ranken Fergusson (1835-1924), to Mr. Stone.
