Photograph of a painting possibly of Sir Charles Bell (1774-1842), Scottish surgeon, anatomist, physiologist and neurologist. The painting was acquired at auction from Walbrock on 30th July 1924, Lot 398/3, and accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 21st January 1930 (CC 5141).
