Description

Correspondence between Haldane and Aubrey Manning regarding the possibility of Haldane's department receiving a research grant to enable Manning to study drosophila and bees at UCL, and discussion of the possible deferment of Manning's national service in order to take up the post. Includes an information sheet from the Ministry of Labour and national Service setting out the arrangments for calling-up science and engineering students.
