Description
Sheriffs Warrants, 1838-1936, comprise patient certification papers. Voluntary Sanctions, 1866-1949, comprise voluntary admission papers. There is full date coverage for the Sheriff's Warrants, but gaps exist in date coverage for the Voluntary Sanctions. In a few instances voluntary admission papers have been bound into the volumes of Sheriff's Warrants. Both are arranged chronologically in date order by date of admission.
