The reports are numbered (e.g.) CPS 13 Merck, CPS 96 Squibb, CPS 221 Cornell, etc. Very few of them are dated, but according to Chain in his Nobel lecture (Bibliog. 35) the first reports were received in England in April 1944 and the arrangement continued until October 1945
