Correspondence and papers of the Scaife family, especially Reginald Scaife (step-son of Thomas Hodgkin), and the latter's son Arthur Hodgkin Scaife. Included are a letter from Thomas Hodgkin, February 1859, and a signed agreement between Thomas Hodgkin (as joint proprietor of a press for stamping gold) and Reginald Scaife, on the latter's departure for Melbourne, Australia, June 1853.
