This was a Working Party of the Blood Transfusion Research Committee, constituted in 1967 with the following terms of reference: 'to consider the preparation and production of AHF concentrates by the cryoprecipitate method and the effects which the wider use of this preparation might have on the research programme for plasma fractionation'. Kekwick was a member from its establishment.
