The Patients Association provided a speaker (Dame Elizabeth Ackroyd) to the Group's annual conferences and various symposia and seminars, including those events entitled: 'Sound clinical judgement: What happens when things go wrong?' 1980; 'The Creative Urge' 1981; 'Home visits by GPs: The patient's right or privilege?' 1981; 'Lock up your practice: London's elusive GPs' 1982; 'Appropriate Medicine' 1982; 'Human Rights in Medicine' 1983; 'How much should the patient be deceived?' 1983; 'A nineteenth century idea whose time is up?' 1984.

File includes the London Medical Group's annual events programmes and the Annual Report 1980-1981 of the London Medical Group and Society for the Study of Medical Ethics.
