Description
Later in life Sir John McMichael became interested in medical history and began gathering information on eminent medical men. Lady McMichael continued to do this when he was no longer able to, and much of this material was actually prepared by her.
McMichael's files on Professor Arthur Robertson Cushney (1866-1926), including family letters and photographs given by Cushney's daughter, were given to Sir William Paton at the Wellcome Institute in August 1984. These are held by the Wellcome Library as PP/ARC/E.
