    Isolation Hospital. The number of cases admitted during the year were 62 as against 53 in 1917. 28 cases from the Urban District, and 34 cases from the Rural District. There were no deaths. Analysis of Cases :— Urban District—Scarlet Fever, 18 cases. ,, Diphtheria, 10 cases. Rural District—Scai’let Fever, 10 cases. ,, Diphtheria, 24 cases. The work of the Nursing Staff has been adequate and satisfactory. Vital Statistics. There were 143 deaths in the district, giving a death- rate of 12.041 per thousand. The number of infants dying under one year was 14 as against 19 in 1919. The number of births was 255 (llO males and 145 females), giving a birth-i'ate of 19.71 per thousand, as against 18.17 in 1917. There were ten illegitimate births registered (5 males, 5 females), as against ten in 1917. These satisfactory. Factories and. Workshops. have been regularly inspected and found 1 remain.
