1969:
Articles from this year report the Greyhound Breeders Forum visit to Wellcome Research Laboratories (November/December 1969), A Wellcome Influenza vaccine imported from Australia (November/December 1969), an effective treatment for Typhoid (Retail Chemist, 5th May 1969) and the productivity prize awarded to a Wellcome maintenance employee, Mr Tom Buller, for improving the design of the guinea pig cage (Kentish Times, 28th February 1969).

1970:
A collection of articles from the British press in 1970 covering a variety of issues with respect to the Wellcome Foundation that year. One reports 'Children in peril from cuddly toys', a warning given by Wellcome Research Laboratories in Beckenham (Beckenham Advisor, 8th October 1970); another describes an early computer network of seventeen computers at the department of Scientific Computing and Statistics Department (Computer Weekly, 29th October 1970). Additional articles reports on a 'Space age tape typewriter' (Pulse, 8th August 1970) which can type chemical structures, a six foot model of the Wellcome floating laboratory that went on display (Beckenham Journal, 17th July 1970) and a tour of Wellcome Research Laboratories given to a party of final year Brazilian medical students, various articles picture the event (February 1970).
