Inscribed in the lower margin inside the upper cover: 'Ex libris Amandi Laurentii de Schmid, Camerae aulicae Bavariae Secretarii.' On the first leaf a later owner[?] has written: 'Dumanas ed [or 'ex'] Dimsch. anno 1776', the meaning of which has not been ascertained: 'Dumanas' may be a surname, and 'Dimsch' a place [?
